Customer Service Specialist
I have fours years experience in the insurance industry and I am Property and Casualty Licensed.
I grew up in Lakeland Florida and moved to Ohio about 10 years ago. I love helping people manage the risks of everyday life. Knowing that I’ve been able to give customers the protection they need is why I am in this business.
I love being outdoors, skydiving, hiking and kayaking. I am also really passionate about healthy and clean eating. When I am not working, you can find me outdoors with my children. We love spending time on the river. One thing people don’t know about me is that I played Alice at Disneyworld for two summers.
I have been in the insurance industry since 1985. I was licensed in 1991, obtained my Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 1996 and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation in 2011. I grew up in Westerville, Ohio and relocated to the Mount Vernon area in 2000.
I enjoy meeting new people, building relationships and working with customers to make sure that they are getting the best coverages to protect them, their families and their belongings.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. We enjoy boating and hanging out at our lake during the summer. I also enjoy visiting my sister in Panama City Beach Florida! During the summer months you can find me every weekend at our lake in Apple Valley.

I lived in Mount Vernon until I was in my early teens, and lived the majority of my adult life in and around the Columbus area. Roughly 5 years ago I moved back to Mount Vernon in order to be able to spend more time with my family and relatives.
It’s very gratifying getting to know more of the people in our community and having the opportunity to discuss their lives so I can ensure they are properly covered for where they are at in their lives. I like challenges, anything that will challenge me physically or intellectually.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, mountain biking, snowboarding and camping. I have an extensive background in wrestling, including wrestling for OSU, in addition I have been on the Ohio All Star Team as well as National Teams for both Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling. I like to volunteer when I can, mostly helping out friends, family and a few of the local churches here in town.
I started back in 2015 as a Customer Service Specialist providing service to our current customers and then began advancing to Sales in 2017 forming relationships with our newest customers.
I attended Christian Star Academy from Pre-K to 1st Grade and then started at Fredericktown Local Schools from 2nd Grade on. My Junior & Senior years were spent at the Knox County Career Center in the Metal Fabrication & Welding program.
What I love about my job is the people, the people that are trusting me to protect what is important to them. Whether that be their homes, their vehicles that get them to work so they can earn a living or protecting what’s really most important – their family.
I really just enjoy life. I love to explore, try new things, take in the outdoors and find joy in the small things as well as the big things.
I typically can be found going out to eat with my soon to be husband, spending time outdoors with my family, relaxing around a bonfire with friends, fishing or finding good deals at local antique shops.
I play on a local Roller Derby team so for some people, I’m known as Haulin’ Ass-pen, #77.
I attend church at Millwood Church of Christ and often teach Sunday School. I also volunteer for the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team and am part of an Adopt-A-Highway program.
